Knowledge is the preliminary
success of production
We believe that continuous research is essential both for the qualitative improvement of existing products and for the development of those to come. We are constantly engaged in research and collaborate with other companies and some universities.
At the moment the research lines include:
Improvement of the substitute diet of mulberry leaf for the silkworm;
Development of substitute diets for the larval stages breeding of other lepidopterans;
Development of innovative farming techniques for the species Hermetia illucens that can be used to solve problems related to the disposal of organic waste;
Entomophagy, insects as food;
Development of techniques for breeding useful insects.
