Research

We believe that continuous research is essential both for the qualitative improvement of existing products and for the implementation of those to come.

We are constantly engaged in research and collaborate with other companies and some universities.

At the moment the research lines include:

  • Improvement of the mulberry leaf replacement diet for the silkworm;

  • development of replacement diets for the rearing of the larval stages of other moths;

  • development of innovative breeding techniques for the Hermetia illucens species that can be used to solve problems related to the disposal of organic waste;

  • development of techniques for the breeding of insects useful for integrated pest management;

  • BeeOShield: we are the leader in the research project on the efficacy of dsRNAs against the main bee parasites. To know more:  beeoshield.org
